Non-fiction book | (Source text: Indonesian) Bab ini menyajikan analisis diskursif atas wacana nasionalisme dan relasi gender, Islam dan relasi gender, inklusi (penyertaan) dan eksklusi (penyingkiran) politik, serta hak-hak perempuan sebagai hak asasi manusia. Mengikuti Weedon (1987, h. 40-41), buku ini menganalisa wacana pada tiga tingkat, yakni pada tingkat bahasa, institusi dan proses sosial, dan subjektivitas untuk memahami perebutan relasi kekuasaan dalam konstruksi dan dekonstruksi nasionalisme Aceh berlandaskan Islam. Pada tingkat bahasa, buku ini menganalisa dua kumpulan naskah Hikayat Perang Sabil, yang satunya ditulis pada abad ke-17 dan lainnya pada akhir abad ke-19. Tujuannya untuk memperlihatkan bagaimana penyertaan (pada Hikayat Perang Sabil versi abad ke-17) dan penyingkiran (versi abad ke-19) perempuan yang memainkan peran sentral dalam konstruksi nasionalisme Aceh di masa lalu. (Target text: English) This chapter presents a discursive analysis on the discourse of nationalism and gender relation, Islam and gender relation, the politics of inclusion and exclusion as well as woman rights as human rights. According to Weedon (1987, p. 40-41), this book analyses discourse at three level, at language, institution and social process level, dan subjectivity to understand the power relations struggle in the construction and deconstruction of Aceh nationalism based on Islam. At language level, the book analyses two groups of Hikayat Perang Sabil manuscript, one which was written during the 17th century and other at the end of 19th century. The purpose is to show how inclusion (of the 17th century’s Hikayat Perang Sabil version) and exclusion (the 19th century’s version) of women who played the central role in the construction of Aceh nationalism in the past. |
